Geesh, got the same spam comment on my blog. Our circle has been infiltrated!

The U.S. was having an election after years of war, a pandemic that was winding down, large scale riots that were happening in American cities, attacks on Wall Street that produced fears of radicals and terrorists and one party's candidates were pleading to the citizenry of America to vote for a "return to normalcy". This was happening in the 1920 election, 100 years ago, I shit you not.

(Thanks, Ed, about the spam . . . . I removed it).

History repeats itself, doesn't it? Or, "There is nothing new under the sun."

*sigh* I have my own list of words and phrases I hope never to hear again.

Enjoyed your column and Ed's comment!

I would have said we'd always have baseball, but then April came and reminded me that it isn't guaranteed...
