I know that just when I think I know it all, a year like this year will come along and prove that I know very little.
I was just talking to my wife on our ride home today about how any other election year, it would be non-stop campaign talk, debates, discussions on issues, being told what the future will be like if I vote for them, etc. This year I feel like I am going to the ballot box and will basically know nothing ahead of time. I also think that for the first time in a long while, (since Gore and Bush) that I will probably wake up the next morning and still not know who is president as all the mail-in-ballots are slowly counted. It will be interesting to see which political party takes advantage of mail in balloting.

Excellent column, Bob. I've shared it with a few folks.
Nice column and congratulations on nine years of writing! It's true, no one could have guessed 2020!
